2015 Harley-Davidson V-Rod Lineup
Since its introduction in 2002, Harley-Davidson's V-Rod has been a conversation starter; with its radical-for-Harley styling and liquid-cooled superbike performance, it has redefined what a Harley-Davidson could be.
The 2015 editions – the Night Rod Special and V-Rod Muscle – continue the evolution of the breed. Here are the highlights of the models.
2015 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special
The Night Rod Special features a tapered tail section, lightweight wheels, and ergonomic fit with reduced reach to both the rider footpegs and handlebar.
Inverted front forks and retuned rear suspension enhance ride and handling. The Night Rod is presented with a blacked-out, dark and sinister power cruiser look.
2015 Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special Key features:
- Rubber-mounted, liquid-cooled 1250cc Revolution V-Twin engine with dual overhead camshafts, four-valve cylinder heads and Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI)
- 123 horespower @ 8,000 rpm; 83 ft/lbs torque @ 6,750 rpm
- Race-bred clutch with "slipper" action helps ease drive train effort during downshifting
- 5-speed transmission
- High-performance carbon-fiber drive belt
- Brembo triple-disc performance brakes

2015 Harley-Davidson VRSCF V-Rod Muscle
The fast, powerful and aggressive V-Rod Muscle motorcycle is equipped with big air scoops, muscular-styled mufflers, a240mm rear tire, fastback-style tail section and massive airbox that helps make the power of the 1250 cc liquid-cooled Revolution engine.
Power gets to the 240mm wide rear tire through a five speed transmission with slipper/assist clutch. To slow the Muscle down from that high performance, it comes equipped with triple Brembo disc brakes with and ABS option.
